What exactly is sustainability?
Sustainability is a broad term that may be used for several aspects to contribute to the care taking of the earth while maintaining healthy lifestyles for humankind. In the fields of urban & environmental planning and architecture sustainability means creating spaces to fulfill the basic needs for living while respecting the land.
How can I contribute to a more sustainable society?
The best way to contribute to a more sustainable/ healthier society is to do your part by reducing your carbon footprint. This can be doing by even the simplest tasks such as recycling, turning off unnecessary lights, and producing less waste.
How is green sprawl different then urban/ suburban sprawl?                                      
Urban and suburban sprawl caters to the idea of moving outwards of a city and towards an automobile dependent society.
How can the public get actively involved with sustainability projects?             
Public involvement is an important component in regards to sustainability issues.
